Rosemarie Barone
I graduated from Bay Ridge High School in Brooklyn, New York too many years ago to reveal. I moved to Port Chester in 1969 when my husband’s job relocated to White Plains. My three children attended Port Chester Schools from Kindergarten through High School Graduation. When my husband, Joe, retired from General Foods in 1987 he worked at the High School for a short while, in the Business Office for five years and finished his second career volunteering at the Middle School for about five years.
Having recently retired as the Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools, I thought it was time to give something back to the school community and to the students. As a young Mom, I was always involved in the PTA. After the children graduated, I continued working but always missed the rewards of volunteering. So, here I am, hoping to be of some value to the Foundation. I look forward to working with a great group of people for the benefit of the students of Port Chester.
Joan Conklin
I graduated from Riverhead, H.S., Riverhead, N.Y. and went on to SUNY Cortland to graduate with a degree in Physical Education. I moved to Port Chester in 1970 where I taught in the Port Chester schools for 30 years. I retired in the year 2000 and still substitute teach in Physical Education. I became a member of Tamarack Tower to assist the students of Port Chester in as many ways as possible.
Both of my children (Christine Zidik '81 and Kevin Conklin '83) received an amazing education not only in academics but also in social diversity. This knowledge has greatly enhanced their chosen professions. Finally, my husband Walt has been extremely supportive in helping me fulfill the goals of Tamarack Tower.
Bishop Nowotnik
Long-time resident of Port Chester (58 years) and graduate of Port Chester schools. Raised five children, all educated in Port Chester schools. 2 college grads, 1 in college now, 1 in Port Chester High School, headed for college, and 1 United States Marine Corporal.
I have been very active in the School district and currently serve as President of the Tamarack Tower Foundation; an educational foundation dedicated to raising funds for the Port Chester school district. I am also an active supporter of the Port Chester High School Band Association.
I am currently employed by the Town of Rye as Secretary to the Town Supervisor. As you can see from my activities, I am totally committed to my community.
Peter Mutino
Born and raised on Armett Street in Port Chester NY, married to Pamela Palmer, I have two younger brothers Joe and Michael, two children Lisa and Pete Jr. and one granddaughter Samantha. I attended Horton School, junior high school and PCHS Class of 1964.I Graduated with a B.A. and Masters Degree from Iona College. I started my lifelong teaching career at PCMS and moved to PCHS with 34 years teaching before retiring in 2002. From 2003 to 2009 I was elected to two terms on the Port Chester Board of Education. In October, 2003 with just a few volunteers we revitalized Tamarack Tower Foundation and I served as President from 2003 to 2010. I presently serve on the Tamarack Tower Foundation Board of Trustees. I want to thank the many people that have made the foundation a huge success. The bottom line is the students of PC are benefiting from our success.
I was recently named in Cambridge Who’s Who in America.
Dorothy Scarfone
Although I have been living in Harrison for the past 30+ years, my heart will always be in Port Chester. I have a loyalty to the community which I wish to demonstrate by my involvement in the Tamarack Tower Foundation. This is truly a good cause.
I was married to Frank Scarfone (Class of 1958) for 45 years before Frank’s death in 2006. We have three children and four grandchildren who give me great joy. I earned an Associates Degree at the Latin-American Institute in Manhattan and my paralegal certificate at Manhattanville College. I work as a legal secretary/paralegal for a law firm in Greenwich.
I was a literacy volunteer for many years starting when my children were in grammar school. I have continued to volunteer to teach English to our new wave of immigrants. Because of this quest, I have made some lifelong friends. I also have been a member of the parish counsel of my church helping to establish goals for the parish.
Margoth Pilla
Denise Carlucci Quinn
I am a 1977 graduate of Port Chester High School. While I wasn't born in P.C. my father was and whenever our family wasn't moving around the United States we always settled back in P.C. My dad retired from the Army in '69 and P.C. was our final stop. I have been married to Ed Quinn for 25 1/2 years. We have one child, a daughter, Taylor, who will graduate June 2010 and a 3 year old beagle name Hermione. I currently work in Greenwich, for the past 14 years as a bookkeeper for a wholesale importer of Italian and oriental furniture. Prior to this job I worked for an Aerospace Company, in the finance area, for 18 years until they relocated in 1996. I keep myself busy by singing in the Corpus Christi Church Adult Choir, since I was 16 years old. I am also my daugthers' Girl Scout Leader and the treasurer in the Port Chester/Rye Brook Girl Scout Community. I also am involved in the High School Band Assosication and the Drama Club, as the parent representative for the high school and help out my husband who volunteers at Brooksville on Willett Ave. I joined TTF because I am committed to the children of the Port Chester Schools and hope to make it better for them.
Ray Sculky
Educated and graduated from the Port Chester High School in 1975. I also graduated from the University of Miami in 1979 with a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree. Presently I am employed by the Westchester County Board of Elections as an Election Inspection Coordinator. I was previously employed at the Town of Rye as a Confidential Secretary to the Supervisor from 1998-2007. I had also worked for hotels and restaurants in food and beverage. I am a member of Port Chester/Rye Brook Kiwanis Club, Port Chester Elks Lodge #863, Port Chester/Rye Brook/Rye Town Columbus Day Celebration Committee, Rye Town/Port Chester/Rye Brook Fourth of July Committee, Port Chester/Rye Brook/Rye Town Chamber of Commerce and member and President of "Hope for Holidays". I was a former Little League Coach for the Port Chester Police. I am married to Migdalia and have two children, Benjamin and Gabriella.

Marie B. Genteale
Marie A. Bellantoni Genteale, was born and raised in the Brooksville section of Port Chester. Her parents were Dominic and Josephine G. Bellantoni. She is a member of the class of 1952 - Port Chester High School. After graduating from Fordham University, she returned to Port Chester to teach. Graduate degrees were complete at New York University and course work for her doctorate was completed at Fordham, Lincoln Center. Her career in Port Chester spanned 37 years – Teacher, Principal of John F. Kennedy School, Administrator for Curriculum at the Middle School and Assistant Superintendent for Business. She retired from the district on November 30, 1992 but was retained as a consultant until the following June. Her dream was to have an endowment fund in place for Port Chester High School students. The Bella Fund now exists thanks to the help of her nephew, Dominic Napolitano.
John, her deceased husband, class of 1944, was an L.P.A. with an accounting practice in Port Chester. She was a self-taught Public Accountant and maintained his and her accounting practice until April of this year. She is finally retired.
Plans for the future include pursuing her passion for Sailing. Having served as Commander of the Captain Harbor Sail and Power Squadron in Greenwich, she is a Captain and Navigator, racing her own boat and cruising with her mate Chris. Her plans are to go where the winds take them. She also hopes to achieve a new goal every year while cruising - like learning to play the guitar and achieving some degree of mastery in foreign languages

Former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sound Federal Savings and Bank and Sound Federal Charitable Foundation, former General Counsel, Sound Federal Saving Bank; General Counsel Union Free School District #4-Town of Rye; Port Chester Public Library; Port Chester-Rye Town Police Benevolent Association; miscellaneous charitable organizations; past Vice Chairman and Member of the Board of Trustees of United Hospital Medical Center; member of the Board of Trustees of Greenwich Hospital Medical Center.

Educator, arts-in-education consultant, coordinator for Port Chester Schools Literacy through the Arts program k-5. Former Port Chester Board of Education member, two time president. Port Chester High School Teacher (1968-1982) English Department chairperson, drama director. One of the founders of the Port Chester Council for the Arts; present PCCFA Education Direct. ESL instructor and teacher trainer for BOCES Southern Westchester. Professional website Arto English.net. Married to Lou Del Bianco, actor, singer, storyteller. Mother of three daughters, all graduates of PCHS: Denise Colangelo(John), Diane Lucas (Kirk), Dana Rutson (David). Grandmother of five: Christina Colangelo Beadle, Julie Colangelo, Stephen Lucas, Scott Lucas, Giles Rutson.
Anthony J. Napoli
First and foremost, I am an educator. I have been a resident of Port Chester for 31 years, moving here and becoming an active member of the community upon my appointment as Port Chester High School Principal in 1977. I served in this position for 8 years until 1985 and returned in 1991 to serve as the Port Chester Superintendent of Schools until 1995. I have been in education since my first appointment as Social Studies Teacher in 1961. My career has included Chairmanships, Coordinator of Humanities, Director of Secondary Education, Assistant Superintendent for Staff Development/Communications and am currently serving as Director of Education of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
My lovely wife, Carol, has been my partner for 48 years. We have three children who graduated from Port Chester High School; Lisa, the oldest is a nurse and works at the Holy Rosary School; Peter is a Chief Operating Officer for an international company; and Melissa, who lives in Port Chester, is an avid supporter of the Port Chester Public Library. Carol and I have 6 grandchildren all of whom we adore.
Anyone who knows me, knows that my passion is reading and I occasionally enjoy a “wild turkey.” I am proud to be an honorary member of the Tamarack Tower Foundation.

A 53 year resident of Port Chester. A graduate of Port Chester High School class of 1974 and Mercy College 1978. Former Rye Town Supervisor 1994-2007. Married to Kim Perkins Morabito class of 1975. Children Aimee, class of 2001, Christopher, class of 2004, Sara, class of 2006, and Michael, class of 2007. Granddaughter Skylar.
Dennis Pilla
Presently serving his third term as Port Chester's Mayor. He was first elected to public office as Village Trustee in 2006 and as Mayor in 2007. Dennis also currently serves as First Vice President of the Westchester Municipal Officials Association.
Prior to being elected Mayor, Dennis held various positions in corporate finance at PepsiCo, GE, Time Warner & Citigroup and as a business consultant. He also worked as an emergency ambulance technician serving Port Chester, New Rochelle and White Plains.
Dennis earned a Bachelor's degree from Fordham University, where he met his wife Margoth, a Port Chester resident at the time and PCHS graduate. Dennis and Margoth are married 28 years and have one son, David. They have lived in Port Chester since 1996 and are parishioners of Corpus Christi Church.
Dennis also serves on the boards of the Port Chester / Rye Brook Chamber of Commerce, the Port Chester / Rye Brook Public Library, and Port Chester / Rye Brook Council for Community Services. Dennis is also a member of the Port Chester Kiwanis Club and Knights of Columbus.

Pastor of Bethesda Baptist Church in Port Chester. I attended the Columbia University, College of New Rochelle and the New York Theology Seminary. I teach in a Special Education 6th grade at the Port Chester Middle School . Founder of Ward Summer Institute, Chapline of the Port Chesster Police Department, serve on the Board of Ethics in Port Chester and Honorary Member of the Tamarack Tower Foundation. My wife Cheryle is a teacher at the JFK Magnet School and has four children. Lovely is a teacher at Edison School, April is a student at Temple University, Ebony is a student at Maria Regina High School and Jeremiah is a student at the Port Chester Middle School.
